I can't speak about the service because I took my food to go. I had a Sakura dynamite roll and a gator roll. Both were great. I would definitely go back to dine in.

I used to love to go here til one day my boyfriend, his daughter and I come in like always, we order the same thing as always and out bill is over 100.00 without any alcohol!!! We were furious! All the manager said was we raised our prices! Um yea it's cheaper to eat at benihanas and it's better food! I refuse to ever go back.

This place is great. I have been a regular there for a few years now. The food is fresh and delicious. The price is very affordable, and the staff are very friendly and accomodating.

The freshest sushi in town. Great service and friendly staff! I take out food there at least once a week! I highly recommend Sakura!!!! Fabulous food

I came here with friends over the weekend and we loved it. The place has tiny little rooms for privacy. We ordered about 5 sushi rolls, pad thai, some dumplings, and katsu. Everything was amazing! The prices were very reasonable too. The only con was the wait time, but it was only because of how busy they were. Maybe they should get more staff?

Absolutely delicious! The private booths are super cool and make the experience of eating there fun! The superbowl roll is so amazing. Its even impressive to look at, covered in avocado and tempura bits! The spider roll is my favorite sushi and I've had it at a lot of sushi restaurants. It's the second best I've ever had. (The first was double he price though.) The pad thai is really good but the portions are about medium sized. Reasonably priced, though! I highly recommend it!!

Been eating their volcano roll for 15 years. Favorite sushi spot in broward. They deliver after 5 pm.

This is one of my favorite little "gems" to eat at. I have been going to this location for about 4 years and would not eat anywhere else for sushi. Not to say I have not tried, but I find this location hits it on the nail when it comes to formula and quality. I am not adventurous when it comes to eating from the variety of choices available. I normally get JB Rolls, Coral Spring Roll,s or Sushi Deluxe. I have never had a problem with the location and love the quick service. The inside is decorated in festive Japanese artwork, you also have the option to dine in the center, or in private booths that are closed off to you and your party. If your in the mood for a real treat, I suggest you stop by and check out this location for sure!! Happy Eating!!

Our go to place for Sushi! If we can't decide where or what to eat, we go to Sakura! The service has been consistently good and friendly. The little closet booths are a lot of fun and very private. They have good selection of rolls to choose from; some unique rolls, some standards. Everything we've tried has been fresh! The roll sizes are great, sometimes too big! Their Unagi is decent - not the best I've had but certainly far from the worst!

This has been my favorite local sushi spot for several years. The sushi is always fresh. Their agetofu and dynamite are my favorite (I always try it at other places and never find better). The Kamakaze Roll is my #1 roll--avocado and tuna rolled I/O with dynamite topping..YUM! They always say hello and ask us where we have been if they don't see us each week :) You can sit at the bar, at a table, or in a private booth. There is no floor or cushion seating like you see in some Japanese places.

SAKURA, you my only friend. When its sushi you crave, a sweet romantic spot, a no fuss restaurant with the feeling of elegant Japenese service. GO HERE! The food is and always has been a huge WOW factor. I was born and raised in Coral Springs and this place has been around for years and is still a knock out. The variety of rolls, the cozy private booths, the super friendly staff. I LOVE IT! Do what I say. Go. Eat. & Enjoy.

This place is not the greatest. The salmon was less than desirable and the salad was average at best. Also my boyfriend had the chicken teriyaki and it didn't have much flavor. Don't think we will be going back.

Has been one of my favorite Japanese restaurants for years. The food is always good and the service is fantastic. Definitely try the sakura pasta (absolutely yummy) - I must order it every time I go there.

Love this place! I've always had delicious sushi here. The servers are awesome, I come here often enough that they ask about my family. :) Great oodon noodle soup n the fish soup is out of this world. Love the small private booths and they always have the TV set to channel 7, hehe.

Excellent sushi and very nice staff! I love eating sushi, but I am highly allergic to shellfish, so I really have to trust the sushi chefs. Sakura has taken such great care of me! They are amazing! 5 STARS!

I've seen the reviews before and today, I was craving Japanese so we checked it out. We sat by the booth where you can have a little bit of privacy. For my appetizer, I ordered the salmon sashimi, $2 a piece, hmmmm. Good thing it is decent size and fresh. Then, the fried tofu, it comes with some sauce which is good. Just be careful when you order it because it is hot. Wait a little while or let it float in the sauce, then attack!!!! We also ordered the JB roll and The roll with soft crab shell. They overcooked the soft crab and it is charred. Not good. The JB roll is good but missing the scallion which is written on the menu. My husband's main meal is the chicken teriyaki. Omg, it's a vey simple dish, literally like the sauce came out from a bottle that you buy in the supermarket. Blah! But we live in Coral springs, and this is close to our house, so maybe next time, it is really worth the drive to go somewhere else. Definitely not coming back to this place. But hey, maybe you guys can check it out and see for yourself. For me, I'm gonna go check out other places because we just don't like it.

i don't understand why this has such high rated reviews. i was visiting a friend in coral springs yesterday and we got the urge to eat sushi, so naturally i looked up sushi restaurants in the area on yelp! ;) and found this to have gotten quite high reviews so we went. i'd give it a 1.5 stars... but there isnt such an option... i'm only giving it that much because the service was fast and my salmon sashimi was ok... but everything else, from the smell of the restaurant itself to the food was really really below par. my friend noted: i hope u yelp this place and tell people it's terrible, neither of us enjoyed the food. at all (and i've been eating sushi since i was 4)... :(

  • Sylvia V.

I came to this restaurant because of the great reviews, this is the most terrible Japanese food I've eaten. The spring rolls were horrible, just horrible, I still don't understand how you can screw up some spring rolls. The food was just unforgettable, and the service is below average. I'm so disappointed!!! Never coming back here or recommending this place.

Sushi here is ok. Not out of the world, maybe good for Florida, but I've also eaten in NYC so I have to compare with what I know. Some of the rolls are a little too big and have too much rice or too much tempura piled on top to give the effect of quantity, not necessarily quality. It's hard to enjoy them that way because you cannot fit it all into your mouth and taste all the flavors at once. Aside from that, their bento box is a good deal for the price and has plenty of food, and I like that they give you a free little bowl of orange and cucumber to snack on before the food comes out.

Very good food! I loved the chicken soup! Made me and my hubby feel better (we have the flu) and then I ordered the Mexican sushi and husband ordered muchacha Bonita! So good service ! And I love that we ate in the booth :) I will be back here again! Also so relaxing!

Go to sushi place in Western South Florida. Private booths and quick service. One of the only locations I wouldn't mind being a regular at. This place makes me miss home!

Decent but not great. Service wasn't very good, 1 of 3 employees seemed friendly. Wasn't terrible, but doubt I would return; there are much better sushi places around.

My New Favorite Sushi Joint in Coral Springs. They have the best price for Uni which is 3.25 a piece. Most places charge 5 or even 6.50 a piece which I think is ridiculous. This place is spotless. I've watched them clean this joint around closing time and they are very thorough. The service is outstanding. They treat me like King Sakura. One of the owners Tina, (she owns it with her brother) is one of the nicest people around. She gets a big smile on her face whenever me and my buddy Richie walk in the door. We always make a point to give her a big hug. Her brother is the main sushi chef and this guy is excellent. The portions are good and he is always quick to offer a sample of certain dishes. Just a good guy. All the servers have been there a long time. They are hard workers and they do a great job too. As for ambiance, it's got a great positive vibe. The booths have doors for privacy , but the sushi bar is my favorite. I highly recommend this place and remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

Love this place! The decor is exquisite! Service is immaculate! Even taking out is a pleasant experience! The mango tango is delicious!!! Hot mama with jalapeño is amazing!!! Definitely a must try for all my sushi lovers!

This place is so overpriced that it is scary. I gave it four stars because the food was great but with all the other sushi restaurants in the area there was no reason for one person to spend $65

  • Daniele L.

I totally love this place, its been my go-to sushi spot for years! The private booths and sushi bar are always cool, service is top-notch, and the prices are pretty great! As for the quality, it's unmatched by anywhere else in Coral Springs... feels&tastes authentic, not too trendy or excessive... just a nice, relaxing atmosphere to get yo' sush on!

Miso soup has very good flavor and salad was normal good. We had sashimi and rainbow roll and both were good but the tuna wasn't the best. Overall we liked everything including the bottled Sapporo which seemed to taste better than canned. Ambiance is simple as in a strip mall and service was initially a bit slow but then moved along fine. Nice simple sushi with good taste.

My mother in law and I used to love this place, I always used to order the JB tempura roll and today we went there just to have lunch. Unfortunately she got food poisoning hours after she ordered the shrimp tempura. She couldn't move out of her bed and the paramedics had to come. She got really sick. We are very disappointed with the restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

The only reason I gave this place as much as 3 stars is simply because the fish was fresh. Other than that I just wasted $40 on white rice. I ordered 2 hand rolls, salmon skin and spicy tuna... Wow, they were great. After those I was looking forward to the rest of the food. I then received the rainbow roll, unagi roll and Sakura roll... Bland. All completely bland with almost no taste at all. The Sakura roll didn't even have in it what it claimed to have on the menu. None of it was even good tasting. I eat way better sushi on my lunch breaks at Publix. That's pretty sad. I wanted to bring my boyfriend to a nice sushi place but this was a big mistake. I even checked the reviews before we went to make sure it was good but apparently people must not know what good sushi is. We usually always go to Shinju, a sushi buffet basically right across the street. I could have paid the same money there and actually enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious sushi, seafood, tempura, Chinese stuff, ice cream, desert... I'm so disappointed, learn from my mistake.

I'm a real fan of Sakura...Service is always great. The staff is always very pleasant. The food is FANTASTIC! They have great booths you can close the door on if you want some privacy...Hands down best sushi restaurant in West Broward.

  • Jen Z.

Love this cute little place. You can get a little booth that is closed off from the restaurant so its more intimate. Ask for the cucumber starter...very refreshing. Teriyaki chicken was my fav for a long time...but now i get avocado rolls inside out with sesame seeds. Very well made. My boyfriend loves this place. He usually orders a boat and eats way too much! Wouldnt recommend dessert though.

Very impersonal server. No lunch specials that I wanted. I heard it was good but for cooked sushi rolls I was not impressed. It seems if you like fresh raw sashimi or sushi this might be better, but it did not have a pleasant atmosphere. Far too many of these around to not feel welcome or have the food I wanted. I won't be coming back.

This is my favorite sushi place in Coral Springs. It's unpretentious, the fish is fresh and they have an extensive menu. They offer booths with sliding doors for privacy that make it fun for dates... even though you can hear what's going on in the next booth. The staff is nice and prompt, and they'll even knock on your booth when it's closed to bring you your food/drinks.

Gotta try their Kamikaze roll. It is topped with a baked spicy seafood on top which is delish. My new favorite roll is the south beach which is featured in the carb-less section. No rice in it but does have some tempura flakes in place of it. The fish here tastes fresh which is not the case with all sushi restaurants. The downfalls.. I would like to see more of a variety and the prices are a bit high, which is why my boyfriend and I are never full when coming here. It does its job for my sushi craving days though. I have high expectations for sushi since I am coming from Boston and San Francisco, which is why I only gave it four stars..

  • Amber H.

Honestly, if you give this place a high rating you do not know what sushi is. At least good sushi. Don't get me wrong the spicy conch and octopus was good, but any other fish is not fresh at all. I don't understand how this place has s 4 star rating. I got a bento 3 box for lunch(which she kindly took off my check) because the fish was not fresh. My edamame was frozen cold and it had too much rice on my California roll. The rice was not properly made and it kept falling off from my sushi. I'm disappointed and did not further order anything else. This place won't last if they keep up the bad work.

  • Marie H.

Don't come here for anything fresh...because its not. Gross salmon sushi and rainbow roll but the shrimp Tempura roll that I got in place of that was awesome!! Unfortunately, I didn't want fried shrimp wrapped in rice. Won't be back here...

Love this place. Been a customer since it first opened. Sushi is always fresh, great customer service and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the little private booths with the sliding doors. As far as what I would recommend? hmmm...difficult. I really do love all that is in their menu. If I could eat there very day, I would.

  • Sabrina S.

I've been here a few times. Good sushi, good prices. Nothing to really complain about but nothing (besides reasonable prices) to write home about either. Was there two days ago and found out that unlike most sushi places, it does not close after lunch and open back up for dinner, its open all day. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Order one of the boats, best bang for your buck!

The sushi is average at best.

Best sushi in Coral Springs. I crave this place. Been eating here for 10 years I would absolutely perish if anything ever happened to this establishment. The volcano rolls are everything. Love that they deliver. Go here and go here frequently.

My favorite sushi place to date. Their Tuna Tataki and Kani Su appetizers are out of this world! Really fresh sushi + a huge selection of rolls makes for consistently good eats at Sakura.

Was in the mood for some new sushi and saw a friends review of Sakura so we gave it a shot. There was only a few people inside so we were a little skeptical but it got busier as the night went on. Started with the Crispy Rice Toro, spicy Toro tuna on top of crispy rice sweet charcoal with jalapeño, honey, wasabi sauce. Also ordered fried shumai(shrimp dumplings) and spring rolls(pork). The Toro was delicious and I don't even like wasabi. Dumplings were fantastic. Spring rolls were good too but were a little oily. Ended up burning my lip pretty good. The girlfriend kept it simple with a miso soup that was good and a California roll. I ordered a Daimyo roll, it's hamachi, salmon, tuna, asparagus, avocado, cucumber, scallion and masago. Everything came out quick and tasted good. Good service too!

Horrible horrible horrible customer service!!! My first time here by suggestion for the area. We were welcome. However, the server in the black clothing has no customer service, made no eye contact while serving and became upset and snappy when ask a question about the items on the menu. If this was not a lunch meet, the location would have changed immediately. ****my opinion.

  • Dara B.

I came here on a Friday night with a group of 8. Service was quick and our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu items. I love sushi and trying to cut down on carbs so having rice-less rolls to choose from was great. I ordered the Sugar Daddy Roll (Tuna crab scallion, avocado roll in seaweed charcoal, eel sauce, honey wasabi sauce on side) Delic!!! A definite must try is the spinach and crab soup!! FYI. There is a desperate desert menu even though deserts are listed on the main menu. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Sakura also has closed in seating booths for private dining.

Hidden gem sushi places are my absolute favorite! I'm sure I've driven by this place a million times, but you don't see the storefront unless you're looking for it. It was a quiet little family owned restaurant. They have really neat booths with sliding doors that you can close for privacy. Very intimate but interesting. Would be good for a date night or business meeting. We sat at the sushi bar, wanted to be front and center to the food! I saw a few comments about their staff not being friendly but the wait staff and sushi chefs were actually quite pleasant. Per my usual ritual at any new sushi place, I always get a Rainbow Roll; it's how I determine if I really really like the quality of the sushi as that roll has everything. Theirs was nothing short of delicious. The Seminole Roll I ordered was DYNAMITE! I usually try to stay away from the tempura rolls but I would highly recommend this one. The Boston and JB roll were simple yet delicious. The restaurant was quiet and comfortable and the service was very fast and attentive. Their sushi roll menu was huge, it was difficult to decide what to get. They also had a vast "regular food" menu as well. Would definitely return to try something new!

I love a LOT of things about Sakura! On being I am NEVER rushed when i arrive..I am able to take my time and have a drink with a friend(we had soporo beers) and have an appetizer(we had the vegetable spring rolls) we then took our time between the appetizer and the rolls (we had a cal roll a JB roll a tuna roll and the veggie tempura. The sushi is always the freshest...the service is always THE BEST, It was the first time my friend had been there and he loved it!! I will always bring new friends here because its just my style...peaceful and enjoyable and fresh! I rubbed.....the money pig again!!! something about rubbing that pig makes me happy! Thanks again for a GREAT lunch..the company was even better!!

I used to live 15 min away from them. Been going here for years. I live in Miami now and I still try to make it up to eat here when I can. Never ever had a bad experience. Been here with my family and always enjoyed it. Food is good and fresh and the staff are the friendliest bunch of people.

BEST SUSHI HANDS DOWN! Their Gator roll and chicken teriyaki are perfect for those who can't stomach rolls with uncooked fish. Then for dessert the most decadent cheesecake deep fried in tempura! I went last night and I'm already craving more! Not to mention the cool private rooms you can eat in! Love this place!
